How Many Photos Will We Receive if Our Wedding is Shot on Film?

35 mm film, wedding photography, analog wedding photography,

One of the most common questions I get from couples considering film photography for their wedding is: how many photos will we actually receive? Let’s break it down!

I shoot on both digital and film — giving you a good bit of everything! When it comes to digital, you can expect to receive 800+ beautifully edited images capturing all the moments, big and small, from your wedding day.

For film, the number of images depends on how much film I shoot. Typically, I shoot anywhere from 2 to 5 rolls of film during a wedding, and each roll holds 36 images. That means you’ll receive 75+ (2 rolls of film) stunning film images — and if you decide to add more film coverage to your package, that number can go even higher!

Film captures moments in such a timeless, nostalgic way. Each frame is intentional, making the resulting gallery feel more curated and artistic. While the number of film photos may be smaller than digital, the quality, emotion, and storytelling power they hold are unmatched.
