Hi! I’m Sarah Jane.

I got my first camera when I was 15 years old, and immediately became fascinated. Taking photographs of anyone and everything, I loved capturing memories and emotions that I knew I would eventually forget.

Eventually my photography hobby reached a point where I had to choose - was this something that could be a potential career? Should I spend more time pursuing this passion and see if I could be good at it? I took a risk, quit my job, and spent half of my life savings on a new professional camera. I was scared.

Years later, I see that although terrifying at the time, taking this risk was truly one of the best choices I ever made. Photography has been such a fulfilling career as I am able to be fully creative, learn and grow my passion for business and entrepreneurship, and create meaningful friendships and relationships with my clients.

Based in Utah and the Western United States, I love to work with and create memories with my couples that will last as their memories fade. Recent work has taken me to states across the nation, as well as England, Scotland, Wales, Italy, and Norway. I love to travel and make photographs in locations meaningful to my couples. Take me with you!

I grew up in Utah surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains. I love hiking, running, skiing, playing soccer, roller skating, traveling, and cooking. While some of my photography is self taught, I have also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography. I love to learn and apply new skills and ideas to my work. I am very energetic, talkative, and I love to meet new people. Photography is one way I can do that.

Being your photographer means so much more to me than simply being there the day of the shoot. Getting to know you, understanding your vision, and helping you capture memories are some of my highest priorities.

We will be a good match if you are adventurous, care about details, and are looking for images that focus on movement, color, light, and emotion.

Here are some photos from my life so you can get to know me!
